SU Sportz
New to TCS this year is our
partnership with SUSportz ( an Ontario based
Christian out-reach program similar to Athletes in Action) to provide both
an introductory level and advanced level program of athletics and
leadership. The program is geared to participants who possess a strong
commitment and desire to play sports while receiving advanced level
training, coaching and mentoring; with an emphasis on “Real Deal
Leadership”. Each day participants will spend time building sport specific
skills in Volleyball and Soccer, as well as time at Coaches Corner. During
these sessions, coaches will spend time developing the goals of “Real Deal
Leadership” which are to encourage and challenge youth to develop positive
leadership skills through tough questions, studying the Bible, prayer and
the reliance on God. The program will be introduced during our first summer
camp, July 12-16, 2010. The cost of the full day camp
(9:00am-3:00pm) will be $90.00 for the week, for participants ages 10-14.
